Anybody can face grief and loss. Everyone can lose someone dear like a family member, a close friend or a dog because death is part of life. To understand grief, one must look at it as a multifaceted reaction because grieving is not just an emotional response to loss. It can also bring about social, philosophical and physical reactions. Just say that somebody in the family by accident died. The lamenting family may initially show signs of strong emotions like anger and dismay. Physically, they may become dumbfounded or inarticulate.
